1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how PubNexus ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Remove Silence Android application ("App"). Remove Silence is designed to remove silent gaps from audio files directly on your Android device.
2. Core privacy promise
Audio processing happens on-device. Your selected recordings are not uploaded to PubNexus servers for silence removal. The App is built without a cloud audio-processing backend.
3. Information stored on your device
To provide the App experience, Remove Silence may store information locally on your device, including:
- App preferences such as theme choice, haptic preference, and default keep-silence setting
- Recent output history and related metadata for cleaned audio exports
- Temporary processing files and cached app data
This local data remains on your device until it is cleared by you, your operating system, or by uninstalling the App.
4. Information we do not collect for processing
- We do not require account registration
- We do not request microphone recording permission in the current app
- We do not upload selected audio files to our own servers for editing
- We do not sell your personal information
5. Network access and third-party services
The App includes internet-related permissions because some third-party services may require network access.
The free version of the App may display ads. Google AdMob and related consent tools may process information such as advertising identifiers, basic device information, network information, and ad interaction data in accordance with Google's policies.

Most App data is stored locally on your device. You can remove it by clearing app storage in Android settings, clearing cache in the App settings where available, or uninstalling the App.

9. Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through an account system because the App currently does not require account creation. If you believe a child has sent us personal information directly by email, contact us and we will review the request.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page.
